1. Cookies and other technologies

To ensure you have a pleasant website visit and to provide certain functions, we use cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. Some are session cookies and are deleted after you close your browser; others are persistent cookies and remain stored for a longer period to recognize your browser on future visits. You can find the exact storage period in your web browser's cookie settings.

Protecting your privacy on end devices

We use necessary technologies to provide our services; no consent is required for this. For non-essential functions, we require your consent to store or access information on your device. Without your consent, parts of the website may not be fully usable. Your consent remains valid until you adjust or reset your settings.

Data processing through cookies and other technologies

We use technologies that are absolutely necessary for functions such as the shopping cart. Among other things, IP address, visit time, device and browser information are collected and processed based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

We also use technologies to fulfill legal obligations (e.g., proof of consent), for web analysis, and online marketing. Details, including the legal basis, can be found in the other sections of the privacy policy or on the Usercentrics platform (accessible via the fingerprint button at the bottom left/right).

Cookie Settings

You can change your cookie settings in your browser (links for Microsoft Edge, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera are available). You can revoke your consent (pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) at any time by contacting us or using the fingerprint button on the website. Rejecting cookies may limit the functionality of the website.

2. Use of cookies and other third-party technologies

We use various cookies and third-party technologies. Unless otherwise stated, this is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Data will be deleted once the purpose has been fulfilled. You can revoke your consent at any time; further information can be found in the "Cookies and other technologies" section. If you have any questions about the providers, please contact us.

2.1 Use of Adobe services

We use technologies from Adobe Systems, Software Ireland Limited ("Adobe"). Data about your website usage is transferred to Adobe servers in the USA and stored there. Your IP address is shortened or replaced before being saved. For the USA, an adequacy decision from the EU Commission exists, provided the service provider is certified (certified). For other countries without an adequacy decision, we use standard data protection clauses from the EU Commission.

Adobe Fonts: To ensure consistent presentation of content, data (IP address, visit time, device/browser information) is transmitted to and processed by Adobe. We have no influence on this processing; it is based on a joint controllership agreement (Art. 26 GDPR).

2.2 Use of Google Services

We use technologies from Google Ireland Ltd. ("Google"). Data about your website usage is generally transferred to and stored on Google servers in the USA. Unless otherwise stated, data processing is based on a joint controllership agreement (Art. 26 GDPR). Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy. Google service providers may use servers in countries with an adequacy decision or in countries without one based on standard data protection clauses.

Google Analytics: For website analysis, data (IP address, visit time, device/browser information, usage information) is automatically collected and used to create pseudonymous user profiles. Cookies may be used. For EU visits, your IP address is initially stored in the EU and then deleted before being forwarded to Google servers. Processing is based on a data processing agreement.

2.3 Use of Facebook Services

We use the Facebook Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. ("Facebook (by Meta)" or "Meta Platforms Ireland"). The Facebook Pixel automatically collects data (IP address, visit time, device/browser information, usage information based on events such as website visits or newsletter subscriptions) to create pseudonymous user profiles. A cookie is set that can recognize your browser on other websites. Facebook (by Meta) can link this information to your Facebook account to compile reports on website activity and personalized advertising.

Information about your use of our website collected through Facebook technologies is typically transferred to and stored on Meta Platforms, Inc. servers in the USA. Further information can be found in the Facebook (by Meta) privacy policy. Meta service providers may use servers in countries with an adequacy decision (e.g., USA, Canada, Japan) or in countries without one (e.g., Australia, India), based on standard data protection clauses.

Facebook Analytics: Statistics about visitor activity on our website are created from the data collected with the Facebook Pixel in order to optimally display and market our website. Processing is based on a data processing agreement.

Facebook Ads (Ad Manager): We promote this website via Facebook Ads. Facebook (by Meta) is responsible for the placement of the ads. Unless otherwise stated, data processing is based on a joint controller agreement (Art. 26 GDPR), which is limited to data collection and transmission. Based on the statistics of the Facebook pixel, we operate group-based advertising via Facebook Custom Audience.
