About us

In today's world, where resources are becoming increasingly scarce and the desire for more conscious consumerism is growing, sustainability plays a crucial role. This is exactly where I start in my workshop: We breathe new life into old, discarded wooden furniture and transform it into unique pieces with character and history.

Why Upcycling Wooden Furniture Is So Important

Every piece of furniture I upcycle is a statement against the throwaway mentality. Instead of consuming new raw materials and initiating energy-intensive production processes, I use what is already available. This not only protects our forests and reduces CO2 emissions, but also minimizes waste.

Just think of the energy required to fell trees, transport the wood, process it in sawmills, and manufacture new pieces of furniture. Upcycling eliminates much of this effort. I utilize the existing substance and often high-quality reclaimed wood that might otherwise end up in the bulky waste.

More than just furniture: A story and a vision

Each of my upcycled pieces of furniture tells a story. The small imperfections, the patina, or the signs of wear are not flaws, but rather witnesses to a previous life. I preserve these stories and combine them with a new aesthetic and function. This creates furniture that is not only practical but also has a soul – something often missing from mass-produced items.

Our goal is to create furniture that is not only beautiful and functional, but also makes a positive contribution to environmental protection. It's about more conscious consumption and maximizing the lifespan of products.

Your contribution to sustainability

When you choose a piece of furniture from my workshop, you are not only choosing a unique design piece, but also actively supporting sustainability. You are helping to conserve resources, reduce waste, and strengthen the circular economy.

Let's make the world a little more sustainable together – one piece of furniture at a time.
